But if she shows too much interest too early, he might not invest. Such is our current sexual marketplace. 12 jf12 says: June 6, 2014 at 8:06 am #10 As tasdg alluded, all women erroneously believe of themselves that they respond properly to being treated “as a person.” 13 Star Child says: June 6, 2014 at 8:46 am I think this is how most women feel, not just 10’s. So how is a woman supposed to differentiate between the guys who may really like her and the ones who just want to bone, when everyone is trying to bone from the beginning? Just get the boning part out of the way and see who sticks around? I’m being slightly facetious with that second question, but this one guy I used to have casual sex with brought it to mind. We encountered each other on the dance floor a few times and then went out once or twice before he invited me over to his place.* The first time I came over, we talked, watched movies, listened to music, did everything we could to put off getting physical until we finally just said fuck it (literally). The second time we hung out, we went right to the bedroom and had sex first. After that, the guy smiled, took a deep breath between drags of his cigarette and said “I’m glad we got that over with. Now I can relax.” And then we proceeded to have a really nice time together after that…great conversation, karaoke with his friends, the whole nine. He still likes me to this day, and we still hang out sometimes. I’ve been avoiding the sex part, though (not really feeling it right now), so I don’t expect that to last too much longer.
